First, you should get some basic rosacea 101. Second, this site is a commercial clearinghouse of rosacea control and the best site on the internet for rosacea knowledge! This site has been running since 1999 and has a wealth of information on rosacea. Many have commented on what a great site this is to educate yourself on rosacea. There is so much confusion, frustration, and mental anguish with this disease and getting control of it begins with knowledge. Some dermatologists are not keeping up with the latest information on rosacea. For example, some still prescribe steroids for rosacea not knowing that steroids exacerbate rosacea and make it worse (hence the term steroid induced rosacea). There is a common thread that runs through all rosaceans that what may control rosacea for one may not for another. I have dubbed this the X-Factor. There are 'official' trigger lists from sources of what may trigger rosacea but no one has ever come up with a bullet proof trigger flushing list since every rosacean is different. What may trigger your rosacea may not trigger the next rosacean. That is why there needs to be a commercial site that points to the myriad of ways to control it. Most rosacea sites narrow their focus to usually one treatment or a certain type. This site will publish just about every treatment known by rosaceans to help control it.
